We ask for 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a registered class, so we can offer the spot to someone else. Life happens — illness, weather, and genuine emergencies are handled with reasonable judgment, not penalized. Just let us know as soon as you're able, even if it's short notice.
If a registered participant doesn't show up and hasn't contacted us to cancel or reschedule, a 50% no-show fee applies, invoiced through Square. This doesn't apply if you've reached out — even last-minute — to let us know about an emergency; that falls under our reasonableness clause above, not the no-show fee.
If Birchwood needs to cancel or reschedule your class (Birch Bay Ranch priority bookings in September/October, weather, coach availability, etc.), you'll automatically receive a class credit and priority rebooking for a future date — no fee, no action needed on your part, and no charge either way for a class you didn't get to take.
Classes are $30 per session (or $30 + $10 per additional person for Family & Friends), billed through Square. No-show fees and any outstanding balances are invoiced the same way.
